EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR

The Dorman 904-7284 is an exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensor designed for specific vehicle applications. This sensor frequently seizes in the exhaust bung, making replacement difficult and potentially damaging the bung. Dorman's OE FIX solution directly replaces the sensor and includes a bung repair kit to address this common issue. The kit allows for direct repair of a damaged bung, saving the cost of replacing the entire exhaust pipe.

This complete kit includes the EGT sensor, a new bung, a weld-on plate, and a zip tie. It is engineered in the United States and backed by decades of aftermarket experience. The sensor features a grey, female, oval connector and male, blade-type terminals. Its thread diameter is M12 with a 1.25 mm pitch, and the tip width is 4.8 mm. The wiring harness length is 445 mm. The package contents include one EGT sensor, one bung repair kit, and one zip tie.
