Description

The Engineered Marine Products exhaust gasket is a mechanical seal made of embossed steel with numerous layers. It can also be created using graphite, high-temperature fiber, ceramic composites, and combinations of these materials. This gasket is a crucial engine component that seals the connection between the manifold unit and the cylinder head. Different vessel engine systems require different exhaust manifold gaskets; some V6 or V8 engines require two. This gasket commonly uses the same materials as other engine system gaskets, such as flange and ring gaskets.
