The GrimmSpeed Exhaust Manifold to Head Gasket Pair serves as a direct replacement seal for the critical connection between the exhaust manifold and the cylinder head on numerous Subaru, Scion, and Toyota models. Specifically designed for EJ20, FA20, FA24, and EJ257 engines, these gaskets are recommended for replacement any time this joint is accessed during maintenance or repair. Reusing an old, compressed gasket can compromise the seal and lead to exhaust leaks. Constructed from stainless steel with 6 layers for durability, these gaskets are built to withstand the significant thermal cycling, vibration, and fluid exposure common in this application. The yellow color is a distinctive visual cue. Unlike OEM gaskets, GrimmSpeed's are 22% thicker, offering enhanced sealing capabilities. Proper installation is crucial. Exhaust and intake gaskets experience extreme conditions, and a previously compressed gasket may not seal correctly upon reinstallation.
