These Hooker Super Competition headers are designed for optimal performance in engine swap applications. They feature industry-leading welds for durability, 5/16” machined flanges for a perfect seal, and a long transition collector for decreased back pressure. The headers are constructed from lightweight and sturdy 18 gauge mandrel-bent tubing, tuned for maximum exhaust scavenging and velocity. All necessary hardware is included for installation. Installation Notes: These headers do not work with stock location side motor mounts and require an aftermarket front mount engine swap kit. Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers will damage the coating and void warranties; it's recommended to use cast iron exhaust manifolds or old headers during the break-in period. The use of header wraps is not recommended as it can cause cracking or rust due to excessive heat and moisture buildup, and will void the warranty. Header reducers are not included.
