Overview

It is extremely lightweight and can handle continuous operating temperatures of 850 degrees F, with intermittent spikes up to 2,000 degrees F. The tape offers significant weight savings compared to similar materials and reflects 80 percent of radiant heat. Its highly conformable nature and pressure-sensitive adhesive backing make it easy to apply and remove.

This tape is suitable for various applications, including wrapping wire bundles, fuel lines, engine covers, seat bottoms, bulkheads, and fuel cells. It requires minimal clearance and can be used in a multitude of ways. The tape measures 30 feet in length and 2 inches in width.

Its construction includes a high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive, protected by a release liner rated up to 325°F. The tape itself is capable of handling continuous temperatures up to 800°F and also resists UV degradation for enhanced durability. Its thin profile of 0.0065 inches requires virtually no clearance, making it highly effective for applications such as firewalls, bulkheads, engine covers, fuel cells, under hoods, engine compartments, seat bottoms, and transmission tunnels. While highly versatile for heat protection, it is crucial to note that this tape should NOT be applied directly to exhaust components. Its adhesive backing ensures it stays in place without lifting, providing long-term thermal management solutions.
