Description

By containing heat within the exhaust system, it promotes a scavenging effect that accelerates the exit of exhaust gases. This also works to block radiant heat from entering the driver's compartment and safeguards adjacent vehicle components from potential heat damage. Constructed with a durable outer armor layer and an inner ceramic liner, this heat shield is capable of withstanding continuous operating temperatures of 1800°F and intermittent temperatures up to 2200°F. The 0.003-inch thick armor allows for easy cleaning after installation, ensuring a long lifespan and resistance to environmental elements. Its flexible nature makes it easy to cut and shape to fit various exhaust components. The product is ideal for use on header pipes, exhaust systems, generator exhaust, DPF systems, down pipes, and turbo manifolds.
