Exhaust Heat Wrap

This tape is made from a state-of-the-art polymer laminated glass cloth. Featuring a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing, the Reflect-A-GOLD tape is easy to install and remove. It can be used to wrap fuel lines, wire bundles, intercoolers, oil pans, firewalls, or any other engine components exposed near heat sources. The tape operates effectively at temperatures up to 850°F and reflects 80% of all radiant heat. It is sold as a 1.5-inch by 15-foot roll. This universal heat barrier tape can be applied to valve covers (especially around exhaust manifolds), intercooler piping, intercoolers, firewalls, the underside of hoods, intake manifolds, intake shields or boxes, and the tops of radiators. The material does not have much elasticity, so users may need to cut thin strips for proper application around curves.
