The Wildcat Headers WILD118 are performance exhaust extractors engineered specifically for the 1979-1981 Toyota Hilux RN40 and RN42 models equipped with the 2.0L 18RC engine. Featuring an interference 4-2-1 design, these headers aim to optimize exhaust scavenging, leading to enhanced throttle response and dependable performance suitable for daily driving and street performance upgrades. They feature precision-machined flanges for a leak-free seal and smooth merge collectors for efficient flow. The primary pipes measure 38mm, the secondary pipe is 45mm, and the outlet is 51mm. This product is compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions, as well as 2WD and 4WD models. It is crucial to note that these headers will not fit torsion bar front end models; for those applications, refer to part number WILD713. A replacement gasket (RBG118S) is sold separately. Fitment can vary depending on engine mounts, steering, and other aftermarket components, so checking availability and protecting painted surfaces during trial fitting is recommended. The headers come with a 2-year warranty from Wildcat Headers.
