Description

The Clevite P-Series main bearing set is constructed from a TriMetal design for high-revving engines. This bearing set features a steel back for support, a cast copper-lead lining to withstand engine loads, and an electroplated babbitt overlay for surface qualities. The oil grooves extend all the way around both halves for improved oiling.

The TriMetal construction provides conformability, embedability, slipperiness, and fatigue resistance.

This set is sold as a set of 5 and is designed for Ford V8 engines from 1948-1953, specifically the 239-255 cubic inch displacements.
