The Walker Ultra EPA Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter 16070 is designed for OBDII vehicles from 1996 and newer, though it is not legal for sale or use in California, Colorado, and New York. It is legal in Maine only on EPA Federal Emission Equipped Vehicles. This is a direct-fit, bolt-on replacement solution featuring OE-style hangers, brackets, routings, and heat shields for straightforward installation without specialized fabrication or welding. It helps in keeping the check engine light off for emissions codes due to its OE-style high-technology wash coat and optimal precious metal load, which ensures the required reduction in tailpipe emissions. The converter is built with thick OE-style flanges, hangers, and brackets for enhanced strength and durability. Aluminized heat shields, when originally equipped, match the OE design to protect the undercarriage from converter-generated heat. It comes with a 25,000-mile/40,000-kilometer emissions and 50,000-mile/80,000-kilometer structural integrity limited warranty. Gaskets are included for both front and rear installation.
