At the core of ARK Performance's engineering philosophy is dedicated research and development focused on critical areas such as exhaust flow optimization, precise piping sizing, internal core structure design, seamless fitment, and refined sound profiling. The GRiP system boasts features such as up to +10 WHP and +10 WTQ gains, a sound level of 86db at 3000RPM, 4-inch diameter tips, and 3-inch diameter piping, all contributing to its performance-oriented characteristics. This specific GRiP Cat Back Exhaust system is designed for the 2011-2014 Subaru Impreza WRX Hatchback and the 2008-2014 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Hatchback. The package includes axle-back mufflers, mid-pipes, and a comprehensive hardware kit for installation. ARK Performance backs this system with a one-year manufacturer's warranty, ensuring peace of mind for the serious enthusiast. Additionally, a few pinholes in the welds were reported and had to be addressed. However, other users have reported easy installation and a perfect fit with no extra work needed.
