This FlowFX cat-back exhaust system is designed for 1996-1999 Chevrolet/GMC 1500 Extended Cab/Short Bed trucks with the 5.7L engine and dual catalytic converters. It features 409 stainless steel construction and 16-gauge 3.0-inch to 2.5-inch mandrel-bent tubing for unrestricted flow. The compact oval "straight-through" FlowFX performance muffler delivers a moderate yet deep and powerful sound with very mild interior resonance. The system uses factory hanger locations and is finished with two 4.50-inch black ceramic-coated 304 stainless steel tips embossed with the Flowmaster name, exiting on each side of the truck.
