Exhaust System with 200-Cell Sports Catalyst and X Pipe

The Kline Innovation exhaust system is meticulously engineered for the Porsche 911 Carrera (2005-2012) and Carrera S (2006-2012), offering significant improvements over the OEM design and other aftermarket options. The primary objectives of this system are to boost power, refine and accentuate the vehicle's sound profile, and achieve substantial weight reduction. Kline Innovation achieves these goals through careful redesign of key exhaust components. The catalyst design is upgraded from the OEM's 600-cell units to a 200-cell sports catalyst, contributing to moderate power and torque gains. Furthermore, the exhaust gas interaction between banks is re-engineered. By replacing the original two-piece design with a single-piece, trademark tight-radius, laminar flow X pipe, Kline Innovation enhances exhaust pitch and smooths out imbalances, resulting in a sound described as higher-revving and race-car-like. This X-pipe design is a proprietary innovation from Kline. The factory silencers are replaced with a simplified design that improves gas transit and enriches the sound while reducing weight. The new silencer features a single chamber tuned for low-rev resonance, mitigating bass noise during cruising speeds, and producing a rich, raucous vocal at hard throttle above 4000rpm. This system is available in two material options: standard 304-grade Stainless Steel and Formula 1-grade Inconel 625. The Inconel 625 option offers superior lightness and heat resistance, with significantly lower weight figures compared to stainless steel, though it requires a more extensive build time due to its complex machining and welding properties.
