It is part of the exhaust system, which works in conjunction with mufflers and downpipes to efficiently and cleanly remove exhaust gases while minimizing noise. This genuine BMW part is identical to what you would find at a dealership. Failure symptoms for exhaust tailpipe tips can include rust or corrosion due to exposure to heat, moisture, and road salt, as well as becoming loose or rattling due to broken welds or mounting hardware. Visible cracks or dents can also occur from road debris or impacts. This tailpipe trim fits specific BMW chassis including F06, F10, F12, and F13, and is compatible with the S63N engine. It is recommended to install four per vehicle.
