The MAD Valve Controller offers enthusiasts complete command over their exhaust sound by allowing them to lock the exhaust valves in their preferred position, bypassing the factory system's dynamic adjustments based on drive mode or throttle input. This results in a more consistent and controlled exhaust tone. The controller is designed for a 100% plug-and-play installation, utilizing OEM-style connectors that draw power directly from the factory harness, eliminating the need for cutting, tapping, or permanent modifications. This system provides four practical valve modes, easily selectable via the included remote control: 100% Open for maximum aggression, 50% Open for a balanced sound with reduced drone, 0% Closed for quiet driving, and OEM Mode to revert to factory exhaust behavior. The unit is built for durability and daily use, featuring an IP68 waterproof rating suitable for under-vehicle or trunk mounting, and a military-spec wiring harness with a fireproof sheath for enhanced safety and reliability. A memory function ensures your last setting is retained after the vehicle is restarted, and HomeLink integration allows for seamless control through your vehicle's built-in buttons. It is important to note that this controller is exclusively for vehicles equipped with electronic exhaust valves. Users must verify their car does not have pneumatic (vacuum) valves, which are more common on pre-2012 models. For vehicles with a single exhaust valve, the included dummy plug must be used on the passenger-side harness to prevent "short circuit" shadow codes in the ECU. The controller is compatible with a wide range of BMW models from 2008 to 2025, including various 1, 2, 3, 4 Series, M2, M3, and M4 variants. However, it specifically excludes the BMW M2 (F87) with the N55 Engine (built between 10/2015 and 06/2018).
