Exhaust Valves (Set of 8)

The GSC Power-Division GSC2011-8 is a set of eight 32mm stainless steel exhaust valves engineered for performance Subaru applications, specifically the 2002-2014 WRX and 2004+ STI models. These valves are crafted using advanced 3D design simulation for a robust and efficient valve head. The valves feature a 32mm size with swirl-polished heads to promote smoother airflow. A back cut reduces valve weight, enabling higher RPM limits, increased boost pressure, and compatibility with more aggressive camshaft profiles without requiring higher valve spring pressures. The micro-polished valve stems minimize oil retention and drag for smoother motion, while the fully nitrated treatment enhances valve life, improves sealing at the valve seat for better cylinder pressure, and reduces carbon buildup. The exhaust valves are made from modified 23-8n stainless material, offering high heat capacity and longevity. The valve tips are either hardened or feature a fused stellite wafer tip to maintain a consistent Rockwell C hardness with the rocker or valve tappet, ensuring extended life and reduced wear. GSC Power-Division has paid close attention to valve tip lengths, adjusting them to minimize the need for tipping, thereby maintaining proper tip height for correct valvetrain geometry and reducing installation time when setting valve lash. The keeper groove is also adjusted to properly balance intake and exhaust spring pressures, reducing the need for valve spring shims and maximizing the performance potential of compatible spring and retainer kits. This set includes (8) exhaust valves, designed to be OEM length. They are a direct fit for exhaust locations and require no machining. While they work with OEM keepers, using GSC's upgraded keepers is suggested for optimal performance and longevity. The product is constructed from durable stainless steel.
