The Melling MEP-21 is a steel expansion plug designed to seal casting core holes in engine blocks and heads. It features a disc plug design with an outside diameter of 1.188 inches and a depth of 0.130 inches. This freeze plug is sold individually and helps protect engines against cracks caused by frozen coolant, ensuring vital fluids remain contained.
