The Fabspeed Audi S8 V10 ExperTune Performance Software is an ECU tune engineered to unlock maximum power gains and driveability for your V10-powered Audi. This performance software optimizes the vehicle's Electronic Control Unit (ECU) to enhance both power and overall driving dynamics without compromising reliability. This performance software is specifically designed for the 2006-2010 Audi S8 models equipped with the 5.2L V10 engine. The process involves sending your original ECU to Fabspeed for bench flashing with the optimized ECU map. Once reprogrammed, the ECU is returned for easy re-installation, requiring no permanent modifications to the vehicle. Fabspeed Motorsport also saves your stock ECU settings, allowing you to revert to the factory configuration at any time. Significant power gains have been documented on an in-house Dynojet. When combined with a Fabspeed Resonator Bypass X-Pipe, the tune can achieve peak power gains of 29 wheel horsepower (whp) and 42 ft-lbs of torque. Maximum gains observed are over 44 whp and 42 ft-lbs of torque at 5500 RPM. These figures are based on a comparison with a stock S8 V10 which produced 312 whp and 298 ft-lbs of torque. The tuned vehicle with the X-Pipe achieved 341 whp and 340 ft-lbs of torque.
