The Tomei EXPREME Turbo Exhaust Manifold (Ver.2) is a refined component designed to unlock the full potential of Nissan's KA24 engine for turbocharged applications. Originally launched in 2015 and later discontinued due to mold deterioration, this manifold has been re-engineered with enhanced materials and manufacturing processes while preserving its acclaimed original design. Its 4-2-1 layout is optimized for the KA24's long-stroke design, delivering smooth, torque-rich power beneficial for both daily driving and high-performance use. The internal diameter is approximately 40.0mm, with an outer diameter of 48.6mm. This manifold is designed for seamless compatibility with SR20DET components, positioning the turbocharger in the same location as on vehicles like the Nissan Silvia and 180SX. It offers broad compatibility with OEM SR20 parts, including turbochargers, outlet pipes, and front pipes. This allows KA24 owners to achieve a factory-like turbocharged setup. The design prioritizes ease of installation and a refined, factory-like appearance. The previous mold deterioration issue has been addressed with new tooling, ensuring production can continue. Tomei has also focused on improving heat resistance and thermal fatigue resistance, with the new model achieving a heat resistance of 1000°C. The smooth, seamless finish and beautiful silver-toned exterior enhance the engine bay's aesthetic.
