The Tomei EXPREME Ti FULL TITANIUM MUFFLER KIT is engineered to enhance the performance and sound of the Honda Civic Type-R FL5. This muffler system is constructed entirely from titanium, contributing to its exceptionally light weight of 16.0lbs (7.1kg), significantly less than the OEM equivalent. The main piping measures 3.2 inches (80.5mm) in diameter with a 1.0mm thickness, leading to a 4.5-inch (115.0mm) exit diameter, also at 1.0mm thickness. This kit is specifically designed for the Honda Civic Type-R FL5 equipped with the K20C engine. It includes all necessary installation components, such as bolts, nuts, and Bolt Smooth Paste to ensure a smooth and durable installation process, preventing seized bolts under heat. The sound levels vary depending on whether the included sound reducers are used. Without any reducer, the muffler produces an aggressive 105db sound. With the standard reducer, it measures 97db, and with the ver.2 reducer, it is quieter at 91db.
