The Tomei Expreme Ti Q50 Type-R is a full titanium muffler kit engineered for the NISSAN VR30DDTT engine, specifically for the INFINITI Q50 and NISSAN RV37 SKYLINE models. This high-performance exhaust component is crafted from titanium for significant weight reduction compared to OEM parts, weighing in at 17.4 lbs (7.9kg) versus the stock muffler's 46.3 lbs (21.0kg). Key specifications include a 3.5-inch (89.1mm) main pipe diameter with 1.0mm thickness, a 4.6-inch (118.0mm) sub-silencer diameter, and a 6.0-inch (152.0mm) main silencer diameter, also with 1.0mm thickness. The exit diameter is 4.5 inches (115.0mm). The kit comes complete with all necessary bolts and nuts for installation, along with Bolt Smooth Paste to prevent seized bolts under heat. This muffler system is designed to enhance exhaust flow and sound, with Tomei specifying an exhaust noise test result of Tested@4,800rpm with only the muffler installed. The kit's construction emphasizes performance and durability, utilizing titanium for its strength and light weight.
