The Tomei FULL TITANIUM MUFFLER EXPREME Ti Q60 TYPE-D (DUAL) is a premium exhaust system specifically designed for the INFINITI Q60 V37 equipped with the VR30DDTT engine. Crafted entirely from titanium, this muffler kit offers a substantial weight saving, reducing the overall vehicle mass by 17.2 lbs (7.8kg) compared to the factory system, which weighs 44.8lbs (20.3kg). The lightweight construction is intended to sharpen response and enhance the feeling of lightness for the driver. The TYPE-D system is engineered not solely for volume, but as an instrument tuned to respond naturally to engine speed and driver input. It produces a sound characterized as the "Force of Titanium Note," delivering a calm, controlled low-frequency tone at idle. Under acceleration, it transitions into a dry and crisp mid-range, culminating in a sharp, clean high-end note at higher RPMs that complements the V6 engine's inherent character. This full titanium muffler features a straight-through structure with a main pipe diameter of Φ80.5mm x 2. The sound character is described as a deep, dry titanium tone with a refined low-frequency presence, aiming to allow the inherent quality of the INFINITI Q60 V37 to shine through. The kit includes all necessary components for installation, including bolts and nuts, along with Bolt Smooth Paste to prevent seized bolts.
