The Tomei EXPREME Ti 350Z TYPE-D (DUAL) is a full titanium muffler that builds upon the revolutionary single-exit philosophy of its predecessor, offering a new dual layout for the Nissan 350Z. It is constructed entirely from full titanium, featuring a straight-through design with dual main pipes, each measuring Φ80.5mm. The TYPE-D system weighs 10.45 kg (23.04 lbs), a significant reduction compared to the OEM comparison weight of 21.0 kg (46.3 lbs), contributing to improved performance. The sound profile is characterized by a deep, dry titanium tone with a refined low-frequency presence at idle, rising to a dry, articulate mid-range under throttle and a sharp, crystalline note at high RPM. This muffler is specifically designed for the Nissan 350Z (Z33) models equipped with VQ35DE and VQ35HR engines, covering early, mid, and late production years. It represents a balanced street performance and aesthetic choice, complementing the pure naturally aspirated sports car nature of the Z33 350Z.
