The Carbonio Challenge Extended Carbon Fibre F1 Shift Paddles are designed to address a flaw in the factory-fitted paddles of Ferrari 488 models, which are fixed and do not turn with the steering wheel. These extended paddles allow drivers to change gears more easily, even when the steering wheel is turned. They are finished to match OEM Ferrari carbon fiber for a seamless look and are developed in conjunction with AIM Autosport.

The Carbonio Challenge Extended Carbon Fibre F1 Shift Paddles are a high-performance upgrade designed to resolve the limitations of the fixed OEM shift paddles found on Ferrari 488 models. Unlike the factory paddles that remain stationary while the steering wheel turns, these extended paddles move with the wheel, ensuring gear changes are always accessible and intuitive, mimicking the design found on Ferrari's racing models. Constructed using autoclaved pre-preg (dry) carbon fiber with a weave that perfectly matches OEM Ferrari carbon, these paddles are then clear-coated with automotive urethane and hand-polished to a mirror finish. This meticulous construction process ensures both durability and a visually integrated aesthetic that complements the vehicle's interior. The paddles are silkscreened with 'UP' and 'DOWN' labels in the same placement and size as the OEM units for a factory-installed appearance. Developed in collaboration with the champion endurance racing team, AIM Autosport, these shift paddles come as a complete kit. Included are the 'Up' and 'Down' carbon fiber shift paddles, all necessary installation tools and hardware, and comprehensive installation instructions. Carbonio backs this product with an unlimited mileage guarantee, underscoring their confidence in the quality and longevity of the components. This product is specifically designed to fit the Ferrari 488 GTB (2015 onwards) and the Ferrari 458 Spider (2015 onwards).
