Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant

The Shell Rotella Extended Life Coolant (ELC) Nitrite Free (NF) Concentrate is formulated to provide high-performance protection for modern heavy-duty diesel engines. This concentrate coolant offers effective heat transfer, freeze protection down to -35 deg F, and boil-over protection at high temperatures. Its composition includes ethanediol and provides robust corrosion protection for the cooling system, along with protection against overheating. Key features include corrosion protection, protection against overheating, and maintenance savings. While designed for heavy-duty applications, this specific coolant is not compatible with a 1999 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9L diesel or a 2012 Ducati Diavel. However, it does meet John Deere JDM H24 specifications for a 1981 John Deere 950 with a Yanmar 3-cylinder diesel engine. It is important to note that it does not meet GM 1825M specifications for a 1987 Chevy 6.2L diesel.
