The Mobil 1 Extended Performance Oil Filter M1-113A offers advanced protection for your vehicle's engine. It is constructed with a high-efficiency synthetic blend media, capable of removing over 99% of harmful contaminants, ensuring cleaner oil and prolonged engine life. This filter is engineered to provide protection up to twice as long as recommended oil change intervals, supporting up to one year or 25,000 miles of use. The filter boasts a robust design, featuring a heavy-duty canister that can withstand up to nine times the normal vehicle oil system operating pressure. An enhanced nitrile gasket provides a reliable seal, helping to prevent oil leaks, while a durable anti-drain back valve ensures protection against dry starts. The M1-113A is compatible with virtually all types of motor oils, including conventional, high mileage, synthetic blend, and full synthetic oils. This oil filter is designed to meet the requirements of the Mobil 1 Extended Performance limited warranty. It is stated to fit various Chrysler/GM vehicles, with the 2019 Ram 1500 noted as a common application. For cartridge-style filters, installation involves specific steps including lubricating the new O-ring and cap seat, and torquing the cap to the recommended specification.
