The Dirt King Long Travel Race Kit is engineered for the most demanding off-road conditions, delivering 17.5 inches of wheel travel and accommodating tires up to 37 inches. Through meticulous suspension geometry refinement, including relocated upper control arm mounts and altered spindle pivot locations, this kit achieves double the stock travel while eliminating bump steer. It is designed to accept 2.5” x 10” coil overs, 3.0” x 10” bypass shocks, and 2.0” x 2.0” bump stops for superior dampening. This robust kit is built with trophy truck-grade components such as 1.5” Probearing uniballs and chromoly heims, ensuring reliable performance and exceptional off-road handling. The construction features 3/16" and 1/8” boxed plate steel, 4130 chromoly uniball cups, Delrin bushings for the lower control arms, and zinc-plated inner bushing sleeves. The kit comes with a durable black powder coat finish and includes boxed plate upper and lower control arms, fabricated spindles, fabricated shock towers, front frame plates, limit straps, misalignment spacers, heimed tie rods, and DOT-approved extended brake lines. Installation of this kit requires front fiberglass modification and should be performed by a qualified off-road shop. When fitting 37” tires, modifications to the wheel well are necessary, including folding over the firewall pinch weld and modifying the upper wheel well to prevent contact during turns and at full bump.
