The Dobinsons GS45-113 is an extra heavy duty rear gas shock absorber, specifically engineered as a Monster Shock for the Nissan Patrol Y62 model years 2010 and newer. This twin-tube shock absorber is gas-filled and boasts a robust construction, featuring a 45mm piston diameter and a substantial 70mm body designed to hold a greater volume of oil for improved cooling and performance under load. Constructed with a 4mm wall thickness and valve force increased to handle heavy loads, this shock is built for demanding conditions. It includes extended and compressed lengths of 564mm and 352mm respectively. The unit comes with a 2-year unlimited kilometer warranty, underscoring its durability and Dobinsons' confidence in its performance. Important considerations for installation include the requirement for a wheel alignment after fitting any upgraded suspension components. Furthermore, vehicles equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) may require recalibration after suspension lifts or bull bar installations. It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure this recalibration is performed by a specialized technician to maintain vehicle safety. Note that these shocks are not compatible with vehicles featuring a Hydraulic Body Motion Control System.
