The Baer Extreme+ Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver exceptional stopping power and control for your 1997-2004 Corvette C5. The calipers are CNC machined from US-sourced 2618 aluminum forgings, offering superior strength and a lightweight design. They are finished with a durable powder coat and feature stainless steel pistons and abutments, along with dual seals for dust/weather and pressure. The braking performance is further optimized by the 2-piece rotor design, which includes a billet aluminum hat and slotted, drilled, and vented surfaces. This construction aids in dissipating heat effectively and provides excellent brake pad contact. The rotors measure 14 inches in diameter and are 1.250 inches thick, with a zinc-plate finish for corrosion resistance. Installation of this kit requires basic mechanical knowledge and no additional drilling. However, it is important to note that this kit does not fit factory Corvette wheels and requires a minimum wheel size of 18 inches.
