The MFER-1 Extreme active exhaust simulator serves as a mechanical solution for Dodge owners looking to maintain an open-valve exhaust note in all drive modes. By replacing the stock configuration with a stainless steel mounting plate, this kit bypasses the factory active exhaust system’s variable control, ensuring the exhaust valves remain open regardless of vehicle settings. Each kit includes two simulators and all necessary hardware for a complete installation on one vehicle. Installation requires the reuse of the factory exhaust motors and springs. The process involves removing the factory hardware, installing the simulator with a specific locking tab alignment, and reassembling using the provided set screws, flat washers, and serrated washers. The use of blue threadlocker is required during assembly. Please note that this installation must be performed by a professional mechanic. This kit is compatible with various 2015-2020 Dodge models, including the Challenger R/T, Scat Pack, SRT, and Hellcat; Charger R/T, Scat Pack, SRT, and Hellcat; and Durango R/T with 5.7L or 6.4L V8 engines (including supercharged variants). It is intended for off-road use only.
