The Fluidyne RT-48-0309BP is an extreme duty bar and plate transmission cooler engineered for 2003-2009 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks equipped with the 5.9L or 6.7L Cummins engine and either the 48RE or 68RFE automatic transmission. Constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum, the RT-48-0309BP is built for extreme-temperature durability. It is internally and externally TIG welded for superior leak resistance under pressure, and features a heat-wicking powder coating to further aid in shedding heat. The dual-pass design ensures fluid passes through the core twice, maximizing contact with cooling airflow and keeping transmission temperatures in check during demanding conditions. The cooler utilizes -8AN O-ring inlet and outlet fittings. It is important to verify that your truck is a 2003-2009 Ram 2500/3500 with either the 48RE or 68RFE transmission and that your transmission lines are compatible with -8AN O-ring fittings before ordering.
