The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for your vehicle. Constructed from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, the extreme lightweight caliper is CNC machined and features a differential bore configuration. Each caliper weighs just over 5lbs and includes machined protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates, contributing to enhanced performance and durability. The opposed piston caliper design offers superior pad wear and increased caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems, while stainless-steel brake lines eliminate expansion under pressure. The kit utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option, which helps prevent warping and cupping caused by extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotor efficiently expels gas and pad debris, while also reducing braking noise. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Ksport offers both cross-drilled rotors (recommended for daily drivers for cooler operation) and slotted rotors (recommended for track use). This brake system is designed for easy installation with minimal tools required for most applications and is compatible with 17-inch wheels and above.
