The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle, serving as a sophisticated bolt-on upgrade. Its advanced design incorporates new brake technology to dramatically reduce brake fade and ensure the brake pad surface remains cooled and refreshed under heavy braking. The kit's extreme lightweight, one-piece caliper is CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet, weighing just over five pounds. It features a differential bore configuration, machined-in protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM setups, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The two-piece disc assembly reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, with a floating disc option available on many applications to mitigate thermal stresses and prevent warping or cupping. Ksport utilizes a unique slot design on the rotors to minimize braking noise and expedite the expulsion of gas and pad debris. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. While cross-drilled rotors offer cooler operation and are recommended for daily drivers, slotted rotors are preferred for vehicles with more track use.
