This system incorporates advanced brake technology, including features that drastically reduce brake fade and continuously cool and refresh the brake pad surface under demanding braking conditions. The caliper itself is an extreme lightweight, one-piece design, CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet. It weighs just over 5lbs. each and features a differential bore configuration. Standard on each caliper are aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates, contributing to improved pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. The opposed piston caliper design enhances rigidity and pad longevity, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The kit utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly to minimize rotating and unsprung weight. The unique rotor slot design is optimized to reduce braking noise and efficiently expel gas and pad debris. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for peak performance. For rotor types, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler operation, while slotted rotors are advised for more track-oriented use.
