The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. Ksport utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses that can warp the disc or cup the braking surface under extreme heat. The unique rotor slot design minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures, while slotted rotors are best suited for track use.
