Overview

The kit includes an extreme lightweight one-piece caliper machined from aircraft-quality billet, weighing just over 5 lbs, with differential bore configuration and machined protection grooves. Aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates are standard.

The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM. Stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Ksport utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly to reduce rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option to prevent warping from extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotor expels gas and pad debris, while rotors are heat-treated and balanced. Cross-drilled rotors run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, while slotted rotors are recommended for track use.

For applications experiencing extreme heat, a floating disc option is available to prevent thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design that expels gas and pad debris faster than conventional designs, and every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler running temperatures, while slotted rotors are best suited for vehicles with more track use.
