Extreme Lightweight One-Piece Caliper

This kit features an extreme lightweight, one-piece caliper that is CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet, weighing just over 5 lbs. and incorporating protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. The kit utilizes stainless steel brake lines to prevent expansion under pressure and a 2-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses and warping from extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and expels gas and debris more effectively than conventional designs. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This kit comes with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking performance between 194°F and 1022°F, with reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. An optional Ksport RC1 Race Pad, designed for extreme track conditions with optimal temperatures between 482°F and 1472°F, is also available.
