It is intended for easy installation with minimal tools in most applications. This kit features an exceptionally lightweight one-piece caliper, CNC machined from aircraft-grade billet. The caliper boasts a differential bore configuration and weighs just over five pounds. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM components, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The Supercomp kit utilizes a two-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option, which mitigates thermal stresses that can warp the disc under extreme heat. The rotors feature a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris, outperforming conventional slot designs. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Slotted rotors, like those included in this kit, are recommended for vehicles that experience more track use than daily driving. The rotor size is 356 x 32mm, and the caliper color is orange with 8 pistons.
