The ACT TS2-XTR6 Xtreme Race Clutch Kit is engineered for high-performance applications, specifically pairing ACT's Xtreme pressure plate with a ceramic 6-pad rigid race disc. This setup is designed to handle significant power, offering a torque capacity of 630 ft-lbs, which is 109% over OE specifications. The Xtreme pressure plate utilizes an exclusive diaphragm design that increases clamp load, reduces deflection, and maximizes clutch life, having undergone a four-stage heat-treating process for superior performance. Its lightweight, rigid design facilitates quicker shifts and reliable service, though it results in harsher engagement and increased gear rattle, making it recommended for race use only. This clutch kit is carefully engineered, precisely assembled, and accurately balanced to ensure smooth, high-RPM reliability. It includes the Xtreme Pressure Plate, Rigid 6-Pad Race Disc, Release Bearing, Pilot Bearing, and an Alignment Tool. The kit is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the retail purchase date.
