The Fluidyne Extruded Aluminum Diesel Radiator is engineered as a high-performance cooling solution for 2003-2009 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks equipped with 5.9L or 6.7L Cummins diesel engines. This radiator utilizes a 3-row, 2-inch deep extruded aluminum core, a design derived from NASCAR-proven technology. Unlike conventional radiators with brazed tubes, Fluidyne's single-piece extruded core construction eliminates the header joint, a frequent failure point, resulting in superior rigidity, heat transfer, and long-term durability. This radiator boasts maximum heat rejection due to its dense core and significant aluminum contact surface area. The proprietary fin design is optimized for better airflow and faster heat dissipation, ensuring lower operating temperatures even under heavy loads. The tanks are constructed to withstand the stresses of demanding diesel applications, from daily towing to high-boost performance scenarios. The radiator features a natural aluminum finish and includes a radiator cap. Key specifications include a core length of 27 inches, a core height of 29 inches, and an overall length of 35.9 inches, height of 30.43 inches, and depth of 5.53 inches. The inlet and outlet size are both 1.97 inches, with the inlet located on the upper driver's side and the outlet on the middle passenger side. This unit does not include a transmission cooler or associated fittings.
