The Indy Cylinder Heads 440-H1-EZ-1-2 represents a basic kit for the EZ-1 series of cylinder heads, specifically engineered for 400/440 Wedge engines. These aluminum cylinder heads feature Max Wedge ports and CNC machined bowls, allowing compatibility with both Indy manifolds and aftermarket Max Wedge "x-rams." The basic kit for the 440 EZ-1 head assembly includes a 440-9K pushrod kit (unfinished), a 400 or 440-6 valley plate, a 440-216 intake gasket, and Manley head bolts. The EZ heads are designed with stock low exhaust port locations and bolt patterns, ensuring compatibility with most standard exhaust headers. They are suitable for A, B, and E body cars. These cylinder heads are engineered to provide significant performance enhancements, with potential power outputs ranging from 475 to 750 HP. For enhanced durability and strength, cryogenic treatment is also an available option. The design is geared towards serious bracket racers seeking great torque and efficient performance.
