The ProCharger F-4X-144 Supercharger Head Unit is engineered to dominate the competition, offering unparalleled performance for both racing and street applications. Since its introduction in 2000, ProCharger's F-Series superchargers have set the standard for forced induction technology. This unit boasts a custom-designed 7075 billet aluminum impeller and a precision CNC machined transmission case. The core of its reliability lies in the industry-exclusive, patented compound bearing design, ensuring consistent performance pass after pass, year after year. The F-3 family, including this F-4X model, features a large 12-inch volute for significantly higher airflow compared to earlier models. Considered the ultimate competition supercharger, the F-3 series has powered numerous racing championships and world records. It retains all the advantages of the F-Series, including self-contained oiling and the patented, ultra-high speed compound bearing assembly. The precision ground 9310 steel gears are built for extreme durability. This supercharger is capable of supporting 2,500+ HP on race gas and over 3,000+ HP on alcohol. The "spline and threaded volute" design indicates specific input and output configurations for custom setups.
