Description

This is a hydraulic flat tappet camshaft from GM Performance, part number 3896962. It is designed for small block Chevrolet 350 engines and is notably used in the 350/290 HP crate engine. It has a duration of 222 degrees for both intake and exhaust at .050" lift, and a maximum lift of .450" intake and .460" exhaust with 1.5 ratio rockers. The lobe centerline is 114 degrees. An important technical note is that a distributor with a melonized steel gear MUST be used with this steel camshaft to prevent engine damage.
