F-series N55 EWG BOSS Turbo Upgrade Kit

The CTS Turbo F-series BMW N55 EWG BOSS Turbo Upgrade kit is a premium ball-bearing turbocharger engineered to deliver significant performance gains for F3x BMW platforms equipped with the N55 EWG engine. This kit replaces the stock turbocharger while maintaining stock fitment and location, allowing for the use of factory-spec exhaust downpipes, intakes, and charge pipes. The turbocharger itself features a GTX3582R-style Gen2 ceramic ball-bearing CHRA, a billet 10-blade compressor wheel, and a proprietary stainless steel turbine housing that has been flow-matched and VSR balanced to exceed OE tolerances. Included with the kit are oil and water fittings. The wastegate actuator will require calibration during installation, with a maximum duty cycle of 90% WDC. Fitment is specific to the F30 BMW 335i & 335xi models produced after July 2013, and the F32/F33/F36 BMW 435i & 435xi models from 2013 onwards. Crucially, BIG TURBO software tuning via the ECUTEK platform is required, and fueling upgrades are recommended for optimal performance. Professional installation and tuning are mandatory. Before tuning, the wastegate must be calibrated using ISTA+. The maximum boost level for this turbocharger is 20 PSI. Performance results demonstrate substantial power increases: on pump gas at 17psi, the kit achieved 491 wheel horsepower and 484 ft-lb of torque. With flex fuel (55% ethanol content) at 20psi, it reached 580 wheel horsepower and 546 ft-lb of torque.
