Overview

The Firepunk F1 Transmission is a complete transmission package for the 96-99 Dodge 5.9L Cummins.

This transmission is designed for mildly modified trucks up to 400HP that are used for towing and general efficiency. It features an OEM input shaft and is not recommended for competition use. The F1 transmission includes a Competition Master Kit, billet servos, strut, anchor, and accumulator piston, among other upgrades.

The Firepunk F1 Transmission is engineered for 1996-1999 Dodge 5.9L Cummins vehicles, particularly those with mild modifications looking to enhance towing capability and efficiency. This transmission is suitable for trucks up to 400HP and comes with an OEM input shaft, making it unsuitable for competition use. The build list for this F1 transmission includes a Competition Master Kit with added clutches in the Direct drum and OD Brake, an OD direct clutch modification, and an oversized HD 2nd gear band. It also features billet components such as the servo, strut, anchor, accumulator piston, and a 4.2 Ratio Apply lever. A billet single-disc torque converter by DPC with a one-year warranty, an F1 valve body, and a deep pan with a drain plug and temperature sender port are also included. This transmission package is backed by a 2-Year Unlimited Mileage, 100% Workmanship Warranty. Customers have options for the core charge, including sending the core before shipment or sending it after receiving the order for an additional $2,000.00 fee. Shipping costs apply and are included for the lower 48 states. Note: A 10% cancellation fee will be charged for any Firepunk transmission orders canceled after purchase. If lead time is a concern, it is advised to contact Firepunk Diesel before placing your order to avoid this fee.
