The TBM Brakes Rear Drag Brake Kit is a high-performance system engineered to provide significant weight savings, reducing vehicle mass by over 30 lbs compared to stock factory brakes. By lowering rolling resistance and minimizing friction, this kit helps improve ET and overall performance on the drag strip. This setup includes dual F3 4-piston calipers, 12.5-inch x 0.5-inch rotors, #96 compound brake pads, caliper mounting brackets, hats for 6x135mm bolt patterns, and brake lines. This kit is compatible with 2015-2025 Ford F-150 models equipped with 9.75-inch or 8.8-inch rear ends, including both 2WD and 4WD configurations. Installation requires no modifications to fit stock housing ends; however, please note that the factory emergency brake system is removed with this installation. Before ordering, users must verify rear axle measurements, as the kit is available for specific configurations including 9.75"/Super 8.8" (18mm bolts), Light Duty 8.8" (16mm bolts), and 8.8" (14mm bolts). For proper operation, red Loctite must be used on all rotor bolts. TBM recommends using their DOT 5.1 Extreme 6 brake fluid, with at least four 12 oz bottles required for a full system flush and fill. Please note that this kit is designated for racing use only and is not legal for road use.
