F38 38mm Wastegate

The TiAL Sport F38 is a 38mm wastegate that builds upon the legacy of TiAL's first 2-bolt flanged wastegate, first produced in 2001. This model offers a significant flow increase and simplified installation compared to older designs, making it suitable for applications demanding high valve lift and precise boost control. Constructed with high-temperature resistant materials, the F38 features a NiCrFe based alloy valve and a 347SS valve housing, designed for extended product life and resistance to corrosive elements found in leaded racing fuels. The actuator utilizes a high-temperature silicone Nomex reinforced diaphragm and a 17-7 PH Stainless Steel spring, ensuring consistent pressure at elevated temperatures. Components like the valve seat and valve bushing are made from Nitronic 60 Stainless Steel for enhanced durability. All hardware is stainless steel, and the mating weld flanges are compatible with 304L or 1018 steel. This wastegate is available with various spring pressures, ranging from 0.3 Bar (3.63 PSI) up to 1.6 Bar (23.20 PSI), allowing for customizable boost control. The actuator is color anodized aluminum, with options historically including Silver, Blue, Purple, Black, and Red. Note that as of November 2024, Blue, Red, and Purple color options have been discontinued by TiAL, with only Black and Silver remaining available going forward.
