The Scat F43 Series 4340 forged steel lightweight crankshaft (SCA-4-350-3562-5850-20LW) is engineered for performance Small Block Chevy applications. This crankshaft offers a 3.562-inch stroke and features 2.449-inch main journals and 2.000-inch rod journals, designed to accommodate rods of 5.850 inches or longer. Constructed from robust 4340 forged steel, this crankshaft is nitride-hardened to enhance its wear resistance. It incorporates features such as straight shot and chamfered oil holes for improved lubrication, profiled and pendulum-cut counterweights for balance, and gun-drilled mainline holes for weight reduction and crankcase pressure equalization. It also includes four additional lightening holes. The average weight of this crankshaft is between 44-46 pounds, depending on the stroke configuration.
