The West Coast Corvette F45 Suspension Simulator Kit offers a practical solution for owners of 1996-2002 Corvettes (C4 and C5 models) who wish to replace their factory RPO F45 Selective Real Time Dampening shocks or actuators. Replacing these specialized components with OEM parts can be prohibitively expensive. This simulator kit effectively bypasses the factory system, preventing the activation of the Malfunction Indicator (MIL) light and the associated top speed limitation of 80 mph that occurs when the actuators are unplugged. Each kit contains a complete eight-piece set, including four shock plugs and four position sensor plugs. Installation of this kit allows the Corvette's Electronic Suspension Control (ESC) module to operate within its normal factory parameters, ensuring that diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) related to the real-time dampening system are disabled.
