The Superchips 3846-S F5 Flashpaq is engineered to unlock the performance potential of specific Ram trucks, specifically the 2018 Ram 1500 and the 2019-2024 Ram 1500 Classic, both equipped with the 5.7L HEMI engine and 8-speed automatic transmission. This handheld tuner provides users with preloaded tunes designed to enhance performance, with options available for both 87 octane and premium fuel. Beyond power gains, the Flashpaq offers significant customization capabilities. It allows for speedometer calibration to accommodate tire sizes up to 40 inches, removal of the factory speed limiter, and the disabling of the Multi-Displacement System (MDS) for consistent power delivery. The unit also includes a performance transmission control module (TCM) tune. A crucial aspect of the installation is the included PCM swap, which ensures no downtime during the tuning process. This programmer is capable of adding an estimated 20-25 rear-wheel horsepower over stock when using premium fuel.
